Article (1) Official Holidays
Public Holidays for the Public and Private Sector in the State, shall be as follows:

(*) In the event the Month of Ramadan completes (30) days, day (30) of Ramadan shall be deemed as an official holiday added to the Eid-Al-Fitr holiday.
Transfer of Official Holidays: Article (2)
With the exception of Eid Holidays, the Cabinet may – pursuant to a resolution it issues – transfer any of the public holidays referred to in Article (1) of this Resolution to the beginning or end of the week.
Article (3)
The Public Holiday cannot be transferred to another day in the event it coincides with another public holiday or falls on the weekend.
Article (4) Determination of Other Official Holidays
Local governments may determine any other public holidays, not stipulated in this Resolution, for its own government departments and corporations on any occasions related to it or for any other reason.
Article (5) Repeals
Cabinet Resolution No. (27) of 2019, referred to above, shall be repealed as well as any provision contradicting or conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution.
Article (6) Publication and Enforcement
This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force as of 01 January 2025.
