For the first time in the country, a community engagement approach has been implemented through the “Community Engagement Unit” feature on the UAE Legislation Platform with the aim of enhancing the mechanism for developing and updating legislation and public policies. This enables the involvement of all segments of society, including citizens and residents, as well as entities and institutions at both the federal and local government levels, in addition to the private sector, in the process of developing policies and legislation prior to their issuance. It also supports the updating of existing policies and legislation through the establishment of Business Groups, which facilitate the provision of feedback and proposals by specialists.

The transplantation of non-human organs and tissues (Animal organ, Manufactured organ) represents a significant advancement in the field of organ and tissue transplantation, as previous legislation was limited to the transplantation of human organs and tissues only.
