Article (1) Definitions

Wherever mentioned in this Resolution, the following words and expressions shall bear the meanings assigned thereto respectively, unless the context requires otherwise:
Ministry: The Ministry of Justice
Decree-Law: Federal Decree Law No. (34) of 2022 Regulating the Legal Profession and Legal Consultation Profession
 

Article (2) Service Charges

The charges listed against each service in the Table attached to this Resolution shall be collected in consideration of the services provided by the Ministry to regulate the practice of the legal profession and legal consultation profession.

Article (3) Amendment of Charges

The Cabinet shall have the exclusive authority to make any amendments to the charges listed in this Resolution, whether by way of addition, deletion, or modification.

Article (4) Collection of Charges

1. The charges listed in this Resolution shall be collected by the means determined by the Ministry of Finance.
2. For the purposes of collecting the charges listed in this Resolution, a fraction of a month shall be considered a full month, and a fraction of a year shall be considered a full year.
 

Article (5) Exemptions

Federal or local Government Authorities shall be exempted from the charges listed in this Resolution, but not including the companies owned by these Authorities or in which they hold an ownership stake.

Article (6) Repeals

Any provision that violates or contradicts the provisions of this Resolution shall be repealed.

Article (7) Publication and Entry into Force

This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall come into force one month as of the day following the date of its publication.
