Article (1) Definitions
In implementing the provisions of this Resolution, the following terms and phrases shall have the meanings assigned to each, unless the context otherwise requires:
State: The United Arab Emirates.
Ministry: The Ministry of Economy.
Minister: The Minister of Economy.
Competent Authority: The local governmental authority and free zones authorities competent to issue economic activities licenses, including commercial, industrial, touristic, and media activities and other economic activities licensed within the State.
Commercial Register: The database established at the Competent Authority in which the names and information of those who are subject to the provisions of the Decree-Law are registered at the Competent Authority, each in its own jurisdiction.
Economic Register: The database established at the Ministry which includes the commercial register data of names and information of those who are subject to the provisions of the Decree-Law and the commercial register number, which is supplied to the Competent Authority; in addition to any other information determined by the Executive Regulations of the Decree-Law.

Article (2) Scope of Application
The provisions of this Resolution shall be applicable to the Ministry, Concerned Authority, and the Entities subject to the provisions of the Decree-Law.
Article (3) Fees of the Economic Register
A fee of (10) Ten Dirhams shall be collected for every transaction or procedure concerning the registration and renewal in the Commercial Register.
Article (4) Collection of Fees
1. The Competent Authority shall be entrusted to collect the fee determined in Article (3) of this Resolution and to transfer it to Federal Government’s unified treasury account.
2. For the purposes of collecting the fee stipulated in this Resolution, a fraction of the day shall be considered as a full day and the fraction of the month shall be considered as a full month.
Article (5) Amendments
The Cabinet shall be competent to conduct any amendments, whether to increase, cancel, or decrease the fee determined in Article (3) of this Resolution.
Article (6) Implementing Resolutions
The Minister shall issue the Resolutions necessary to implement the provisions of this Resolution.
Article (7) Repeals
Cabinet Resolution No. (14) of 2004 Concerning the Concerning the Establishment of a Unified Commercial Register and Imposing the Fees for Registering, Renewing, and Marking within the Unified Commercial Register shall be repealed, as well as any provisions which conflicts or contradicts with the provisions of this Resolution.
Article (8) Publication and Enforcement
This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force as of the day following its date of publication.
