Article (1) Definitions
In application of the provisions of this Resolution, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings assigned to each of them, unless the context requires otherwise:
State: United Arab Emirates.
Emirates Health Establishment (EHS): Emirates Health Services Establishment.
Chairman: Chairman of the Emirates Health Establishment.
EHS Facilities: Hospitals, health care centers, the training and development centre, and any other facilities affiliated with EHS where training programmes and hours are provided.
Training and Development Services: The list of services and training programmes shown in the Table attached to this Resolution.
Applicant: Any federal, local, or private entity, including companies, that applies for any of the services listed in the Table attached to this Resolution.
Applying for Golden Service: Application to complete the transaction within a specific period not exceeding (5) working days as of the date of submitting the application.
Applying for Ordinary Service: Application to complete the transaction within a period exceeding (5) working days as of the date of submitting the application.
Article (2) Service Fees
1. In consideration of the training and development services provided at the EHS facilities as shown in the Table attached to this Resolution, the fees assigned to each of them shall be collected.
2. The service request fee shall be collected in accordance with the specific service (ordinary / golden) shown in the Table attached to this Resolution, once.
3. The academic hour accreditation fee for continuing professional development programmes shall be calculated according to the duration of the programme per day, taking into account collecting the fees again according to the days of the programme.
4. The fees shown in the Table attached to this Resolution shall not include value-added tax (if applicable), provided that the Applicant/ concerned party bears the value-added tax separately in accordance with the resolutions regulating it.
Article (3) General Provisions
1. The application fee for subscription to the training programme for internship students of dentistry and general medicine shall be collected from citizens of the State and non-citizens who graduate from universities accredited in the State.
2. Subject to Clause (21) of the Table attached to this Resolution, those invited to attend any conference by EHS shall be excluded from paying the fee.
3. With the exception of EHS' employees eligible to attend any programme, the fees shown in the Table attached to this Resolution shall be collected from the employee who wishes to attend any programme, based on his application.
4. The fees shown in Clauses (37 - 40) of the Table attached to this Resolution shall be collected from the academic body applying for the training of students.
5. For the purposes of collecting the fees listed in the Table attached to this Resolution, part of a month shall be considered a full month, and part of a year shall be considered a full year.
Article (4) Fee Amendment
The Cabinet shall have the competence to make any amendments to the fees mentioned in this Resolution, whether by addition, deletion or amendment.The Cabinet shall have the competence to make any amendments to the fees mentioned in this Resolution, whether by addition, deletion or amendment.
Article (5) Fee Collection
Fees stipulated in this Resolution shall be collected through the methods decided by the Ministry of Finance.
Article (6) Issuance of Executive Resolutions
The Chairman shall issue the resolutions necessary to implement this resolution provisions.
Article (7) Repeals
Cabinet Resolution No. (601) – (5) of 1998 Concerning the Introduction of First Aid Training Fees shall be repealed, as well as any provision that contradicts or conflicts with the provisions of this Resolution.
Article (8) Publication and Entry into Force
This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force thirty (30) days after the date of its publication.
