Article (1)
An official newspaper of the United Arab Emirates will be established under the name of "the official gazette", in which any legislation issued by the state will be published. Also, any act, decision, order, announcement, agreement or any document that should be published as decided by one of the specialized authorities of the state. Commercials of the bodies of the state could be published for the benefit of individuals; prices will be set by the public trust of the Ministry of Justice.
Article (2)
The official gazette will be published in Arabic. Some of the articles may be translated into a foreign language.
Article (3)
Any new legislation issued after the activation of this law will be considered known in all over the U.A.E. 30 days after publication in the official gazette. This period may be extended or shortened by a plain phrasing in the new legislation.
Article (4)
1. Upon a suggestion from the Minister of Justice, the Cabinet shall issue a resolution regulating circulation of the official gazette, selling price of its issues and value of subscription and announcement therein.
2. The Cabinet shall be entitled to assign the Minister of Justice with the authorities prescribed in item (1) of this article or make any amendments on the resolution referred to.
Article (5)
The Ministry of Justice will supervise the administration of the official gazette and it will be responsible for preparations of printing it out as well as circulation and collecting sale revenues.

Article (7)
This law will be in force as from the date of its issuance.
